Ok, I know no one likes rules, BUT we gotta have 'em! So here we go!

1. You must respect ALL other Shakedown Members! If you are a non-member and a member/recruit is rude or out of line to you, please report it to the head admins. But all members and recruits should respect each other, and in turn they should respect visitors. You break this rule, and count yourself outta here, we do not tolerate disrespect!

2. This is a family! There will be no exploitation of points on our server or anyone else's! If you are caught cheating, you first receive a warning, then you will be banned on your second offense.

3. You must be at least 18 years old to join the family. We are a mature bunch of people and this is just one of those things we ask.

4. We have a mandatory roll call which members must sign each month.(It only takes one visit per month!)
If you miss 2 consecutive roll calls - moved to MIA class
If you miss 3 consecutive roll calls - moved to AWOL class
At next monthly meeting, members vote on AWOL class to see who stays.

5. When wearing the [SS] tag on servers, please respect other players. When you play on other servers, you are a direct reflection of us and how we operate!

6. We do ask that you be active in the family. If you are going away or are sick, leave us a message on the forum. It's nice to know if someone will be MIA for a while.

7. Going off rule #5, being active means playing with the other members when they are on, talking to us on Xfire, getting on Teamspeak when in the game, and posting messages on the board. Don't just be on the member list.

8. If you don't know, ask! We are all very helpful around here, there is no need to be scared of any of the other members. We aren't going to bite your head off if you don't know how to do something.

9. Don't have excessive cursing rants on Vent. Being mad and saying a few words here and there on Vent is fine, but don't rant excessively to the point that is unnecessary.

10. If you are on Vent and you are in a channel with other players playing the game, and you are not, but you are talking to another member about non-game activity, please move to another channel to talk. Other players can be distracted by background non-game chatter.

11. Please limit messaging people through Xfire while they are in a game. If possible talk to them on Vent first. And if you are going to send them a message, make it one big message and not a bunch of small ones. It's ok to use this great Xfire feature, but it disturbs some members game play, so just keep that in mind.

13. When in any server, ours or an outside server, we all try to get on the same side as the majority of other [SS] members. If we can't get on the same side sometimes we go to other servers that we can do that on. Always try to be in the same squad as other [SS] guys and on the same side.

14. Populate the server as much as possible. We pay for it, why not use it when we can? It doesn't usually take many people to get it going. Sometimes 8, sometimes only 3. Play on the server when you can to keep it going.

That being said, these rules are RULES not guidelines. We do ask that you follow them to the best of your ability. We are understanding people here, but we do expect respect to all of the family above all.

We know that everyone here has a real life and emergencies do happen and so does other things. We don't expect you to post on the forum everyday, get on Teamspeak everyday, or Xfire everyday, but we do want you to have fun here and be a part of the family. Just look at the other members and you'll see what we mean. We may sound harsh, but we aren't!
